Camp Pendleton - Norfolk Naval Base
December 3-5, 2005

Troop 970 arrived at Camp Pendleton in Virginia Beach, Friday
night December 3rd. After breakfast in the mess hall Saturday
morning, we toured the USS Enterprise (aircraft carrier) and the
USS Boise (submarine). Sunday after clean up and a strong
message from Sgt. Perez we departed for home. Thank you
Mr. Cebulski and Matt W. for organizing this trip.
Gettysburg National Military Park
Troop Camping at the Artillery Range
April 28 – 30, 2006

We participated in the Gettysburg Heritage Trail Program which included Hiking the
“Billy Yank” and “Johnny Reb” Trails to see the battle through the eyes of the
Union and Confederate soldiers who fought here at Gettysburg Battlefield
July 1 – 3, 1863, tours of Eisenhower National Historic Site and historic downtown
Gettysburg, and a stop at the National Cemetery and Visitor Center.

Patches were awarded to those who completed the hikes and tours.
