A fun 970 tradition in which scouts and their families participate.
What a blast! We camped at Benner’s Meadow Run Campground just 10 to 15 minutes
from the raft outfitter. Families brought their own tents and sleeping gear.
Two river trips were
conducted: one
through Class I & II
rapids and the
other through
Class III & IV rapids.
The weather was
superb and every-
one had lots of fun.
The troop adults
cooked a steak
dinner as well as
a huge breakfast
the next morning.
